FROM THE SOUTH
* From motorway A12 Rome Grosseto, exit at Grosseto
* continue on the trunk road SS Aurelia to Venturina- Island of Elba
* continue to Piombino marittima
The ferries . The crossings start early in the morning (5 am)and finish late in the evening (23pm)in the summer period with a frequency of about one crossing every half hour. In high season it is advisable to book the ferry.
