PROCCHIO AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
The small village of Procchio is one of the most popular destinations for spending a holiday on the Island of Elba, with the sun and the sea. Procchio represents the crossing point between Marina di Campo, Marciana Marittima and Portoferraio.
The long and sandy beach of Procchio has many bathing establishments. In the sea, at 100 metres from the beach and at a depth of only 3 metres, you can visit the remains of an old Roman ship.
Although it is a small village, Procchio has many facilities such as bars, restaurants, various shops and a small play park which in the evening becomes the setting for a small craft market.
Near Procchio there is the municipality of Marciana Marina which organises sophisticated parties and cultural events which transform it into the place most frequented by VIPs in this period.
